Initial Client Registration
Submission of this initial registration form does not automatically mean acceptance or any kind of confirmation. Even though we are a private offshore wholesale financial service institution duly registered in New Zealand – we can not provide our services to New Zealand Citizens nor to potential Clients that we do not know or trust. As of the first week of January 2019, jurisdictions that we will accept trusted Clients from are Canada, Australia and the United States of America. If you were not referred here by a referring TPCSE Member or a current Treasury Exchange Client, then you can not apply for registration.
Regardless of your relationship to or with us, any and all potential Client applications are also processed using the risk-based approach (RBA) as outlined in The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) which New Zealand is an inter-governmental Member of. This means that if you are a Politically Exposed Person (PEP), you are not eligible regardless of citizenship, residence or birth place. A person ceases to be a PEP 5 years after they have left office.
Please read through Section 49 (2) and 49A of the New Zealand Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008 to see if you qualify. Since Treasury Exchange is not part of an approved dispute resolution scheme, private wholesale clients are expected to be sophisticated investors that know what they are doing. After we review your introduction form, we will contact you to clarify how we can work together.
